Proposition L debate

On Sept. 22, the South Oceanside Community and Merchants association hosted a debate over Proposition L, the North River Farms referendum. Both sides were represented:

• Yes on L (approve North River Farms and rezone the 176.6 acre parcel) was represented by Tanya Mannes Castaneda
• No on L (reject North River Farms, retain existing zoning on the parcel) was represented by Dennis Martinek
